About Taylor

Taylor Rosenberger is a professional dancer, singer, actor, and model living in New York City, and he recently finished touring with the North American tour of the Broadway musical Cats; with choreography by Tony Award winning, Andy Blankenbuehler!

Storytelling is Taylor's main passion. Through the performing and visual arts, he is able to do so. Whether the medium is song, movement, choreography, script, or pictures, he is telling a story often close to his heart.

Dance is one of Taylor’s favorite passions. Most recently, Taylor appeared dancing for Vogue Magazine's Vogue World in New York Fashion Week. Taylor's dancing can also be seen in the second season of Amazon Prime’s Emmy award winning original series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as a featured dancer; with choreography by the legendary Marguerite Derricks! Taylor also had the pleasure of performing in the opening number of this year’s Broadway Backwards produced by BC/EFA featuring Andrew Rannells and Gavin Creel choreographed by Paul McGill.

He has shared his passion for dance by appearing in several music videos for a variety of artists. Taylor was featured in Trevor Jackson’s (Atlantic Records) music video entitled Good Girl Bad Girl. Taylor was a dancer in a music video entitled See You Again— choreographed by Cat Cogliandro (Pulse Choreographer’s Pick, Broadway Dance Center). He was also featured in Ian Erix’s (Sony/Ultra Records) music video Sex, Dance, Rock and Roll. Taylor appeared in music videos choreographed by Lane Napper (from Nickelodeon’s Victorious).

Taylor loves to continue his dance education with every opportunity he can get. He always seeks to study from the best instructors and choreographers that he possibly can. Some of these teachers include: Rhonda Miller, Dee Caspary, Jess Hendricks, Martha Nichols, Mandy Moore, Scott Jovovich, Alexandra Damiani, Paul McGill and Al Blackstone to name a few. He recently received his BFA from the prestigious Commercial Dance program at Pace University.

Taylor originated the role of “The Boy” in a reading of Two Boys: An Opera in Two Acts at Lincoln Center.  The opera was composed by Nico Muhly and directed by Bartlett Sher.  Prior to that, Taylor was cast as “Young Tarzan” in the National Tour of Tarzan with Atlanta’s Theater of the Stars.

Taylor has modeled professionally and appeared in commercials for stores and brands such as Apple, Google Pixel, Kohl’s, Marshalls, Dillards, Bob’s Stores, Nikon cameras, and Ford Motor Company. He has also modeled for household names such as Good Housekeeping Magazine, Family Circle, Better Homes and Gardens, Parents Magazine, and Harper Collins Publishing.

He also made an appearance in the Met Gala scenes of the blockbuster film Ocean’s 8 starring Sandra Bullock, Sarah Paulson, Anne Hathaway, and Rihanna. He was also featured in a short entitled A Poet Long Ago — which was directed by award winning film and television director Bob Giraldi.

In addition to performing and being in front of the camera, I have always had a great passion for being behind the camera. My work mainly consists of photo, video, and editing work; with a significant focus on collaboration for movement coaching, assistant directing, and assistant choreographing. Blending my pursuances of performance and behind-the-camera work, I am able to facilitate the creation of my best work.
